World Juniors 2026 Schedule and Results
The 2026 World Juniors Ice Hockey Championships is scheduled for a 10-team tournament and is confirmed to begin on Boxing Day December 26, 2025, and end with a Gold Medal Game on Monday, January 5, 2026. It will be the 50th edition of the Junior Ice Hockey tournament takes place in two different arenas at Xcel Energy Center and 3M Arena at Mariucci in USA.
2026 IIHF World Junior Championship Groups:
- Group A: United States, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany.
- Group B: Finland, Czechia, Canada, Latvia, Denmark.
2026 World Junior Championship Key dates:
- Group stage game: December 26-31, 2025.

Where 2026 World Junior will be played?
The 2026 WJC tournament games are set to take place in two venues at the Xcel Energy Center, in the Minnesota Wild and the Minnesota Frost, and the 2nd venue is 3M Arena at Mariucci, at the University of Minnesota.
The United States will host the tournament seventh time and first time since 2018. The Xcel Energy Center has the capacity of 17,954 and 3M Arena at Mariucci has 10,257 capacity.
Group A team’s games will be played in the Xcel Energy Center, and Group B games in the 3M Arena at Mariucci.
